    Frequently Asked Questions

Are your shipping container offices and homes delivered fully assembled?

Yes. Most of our standard-sized units (such as 20ft and smaller cabins) are constructed off-site in a controlled manufacturing environment and delivered to your location completely finished, wired, and ready for immediate placement. Larger units or custom configurations may be assembled on-site by our expert installation team.

Do I need a special foundation to place a container home or office?

You do not need a massive concrete slab for most of our portable units. A level, compacted gravel pad, concrete piers, or timber sleepers placed at the corners are usually sufficient to support the weight and keep the structure elevated off damp soil.

Are these container structures insulated for extreme weather?

Absolutely. Every habitable unit whether it's an office, cabin, or container home is fully insulated in the walls, floor, and ceiling using high-density materials like EPS sandwich panels or polyurethane spray foam. This ensures excellent thermal performance, keeping the interior cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Can I connect these units to standard municipal utilities?

Yes. Our modular offices, cabins, and homes come pre-wired with internal electrical panels, outlets, and lighting, alongside pre-plumbed water and waste lines where applicable. Once your unit is positioned on-site, a local licensed contractor can easily connect your main power supply and water/sewage lines.

Do I need local building permits for a shipping container structure?

Permit requirements vary significantly depending on your local municipal codes, zoning laws, and whether the unit is classified as temporary or permanent. We always recommend checking with your local building or zoning department before delivery to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Can I customize the interior layout and finishes?

Yes. When purchasing directly through us, you have full flexibility over interior layouts, partition walls, flooring choices, window placements, and electrical configurations to match your exact residential or commercial needs.

How are the containers delivered to my site?

We arrange direct delivery to your property using specialized transport vehicles equipped with crane arms (hiab trucks) or tilt-bed trailers. Our logistics team coordinates closely with you to ensure safe unloading and precise placement on your prepared foundation pad.

What is the difference between a "Cargo-Worthy" container and a "New 1-Trip" container?

A Cargo-Worthy (CW) container is a used, certified container that has traveled the globe, offering rugged, weather-tight industrial storage with minor cosmetic wear. A New 1-Trip container is practically brand new, having made only a single cargo journey from the factory, making it pristine and ideal for high-end aesthetic modifications or premium display storag
